Good to see such a strong forum.

Looking forward to bringing some control of manufacture back into the workshop. Having had my models printed in the past and seeing delivery times reach 10 days for a wax.

I can see myself having to invest in some form of casting equipment, in the not-too-far distant future - just to keep up with the speed of wax production.

Hope I can contribute something to the Rhino section.

Regards,
Keith

Welcome Keith,

With your knowledge of Rhino, you shouldn't have too many problems on the design side of things Wink
I look forward to learning more from your input.

regards Colin

Welcome Keith,
We are a diverse lot. Each person does different things with their mills.
Read the posts, keep a notebook, log times and settings, try out some of the 3de patterns and see what you can do with the MDX machine. Roland has a neat set of bundled programs. After using them for almost 2 years, I discover new and interesting things that I never dreamed the machine would do, that largely comes from what the guys and gals post in the club. Welcome aboard, experiment and enjoy.... Winstone
