this is a pic (bad one!) of a cross milled from sentimental scrap gold left from remount

Thanks to the forum I've been leaving the mill set up when not in use..... with a cheap .7 cylinder bur (Thanks guys!) in a brass sleeve (Thanks guys!) set to depth with my homemade depth gauge (Thanks guys!)

Customer wanted a simple cross pend....had downloaded symbols from the forum (Thanks guys!) so........less than 3 mins later he could see pic of product

Have been casting alot more (4 times this week) since getting mill....so whats one more flask?

Didn't trim wax all the way down to get more depth and make easier to spue

all said will have less than half hour of my labor ...didn't keep track of mill time but was less than hour

Larry, Glad to see that you have taken to the ease and beauty of the mill. As we all need alittle help from timt to time isn't nice to have some help that makes our day easier and more profitable. Nice job.

Happy Milling,
Michael

hey frog,
Glad to hear your casting more, more casting means more profit.
FYI have you tried to sprue 2 ends together ( from back side)& set wax at an angle? Seems to work well for me,will cut down finishing time 2.
just my 2 cent's
