Hi everyone,
I just recently started getting to know my new machine, its great!! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and your skills with the wax mills. I have read several of your postings and viewed several of the pieces,I am amazed! I got into casting and setting seven years ago and needless to say its in my blood for good, especially since I visited with Jeff D. and purchased my machine. I'm a mechanical engineer also and have worked with industrial mills and lathes, they're great, but the 3dmillers are cooool!!! I will be looking and asking for help along the way so thanks everyone. Welcome Joe!
This little machine is quite addictive and lots of fun.
It's also a huge money maker.
Looking forward to seeing some of your work. If you get stuck on something, just ask.
regards,
Ken |

Welcome Joe,
Start a notebook, download ideas and try them out. date your progress, and ideas, sign the sheet, start a diary of designs. this is important for later copyrights.
My wife has threatened to bury me with one of my mills.... so Jeff do't worry about me going postal. I will be able to take a mill with me when I die. If I go to heaven, well Roland will get good representation. If I go to Hell, well the same thing maybe true. Anyway which ever way I go, the mill will be sure to follow.
Welcome Joe to the ward. I know you will enjoy our club as much as we enjoy getting new members. Winstone |
